I followed it from 7th Ave Melville to 4th Ave Parkhurst, and then when it moved up the road to Parktown North I – for some utterly bizarre reason – took forever to try it out. Shame on me! This latest venue for Full Stop Cafe is definitely their best and I can’t wait to make myself a regular!

  I practically grew up in Queen Street, Kensington. Dinners, birthdays and long afternoons browsing through the antique stores were very fondly associated with the area. Then it got a bit, well, dodgy. The best restaurants closed down and the antique stores just didn’t look so inviting with ... Kensington’s on the up and up, with character, class and culture.    

  Ice Cream Ninjas took its sweet (har har) time to get to Joburg, but they are now firmly nestled in Greenstone Shopping Centre and the hinting routines of children (big and small). Don’t just think scoops of the stuff piled on a cone; oh no, these guys are like dessert mixo... Warriors of all things YUM!    

  That’s it folks, we’ve officially made it – Joburg now has its very own Snoekies fish and chip shop! No more staring longingly at the photos of friends and family smugly munching on delicious fresh seafood in Cape Town, you can now get your seafood fix without h... Suck it Cape Town, the Legendary Snoekies Has Arrived in Joburg!    

  Sunday lunch on the patio is great, Sunday spent on the couch can be better, but Sunday lunch at Il Giardino? There’s nothing quite like it. Brilliant food, a spectacular vibe and beautiful music is what you’ll be booking your table for. Your new favourite “grown-up” Sunday lunch venue!
